
Dr. Russ Cashin is an Adjunct Professor in the Social Sciences at Mohave College and a leading expert in Nutritional Psychology—the study of how nutrients affect mood and behavior. He earned his PhD cum laude, completing a doctoral thesis focused on medical cannabis. A dedicated educator, Dr. Cashin previously spent six years teaching community education courses in Medical Cannabis and Nutrition, Health & Anti-Aging at Utah Tech University.
Beyond the classroom, Dr. Russ is a published author, speaker, and certified cognitive behavioral group therapist. He contributes to state-level research initiatives, having served on the Cannabis Research Review Board. He is also a member of the Medical Cannabis Research and Education Committee (MCREC) within the Center for Medical Cannabis Research (CMCR) at the University of Utah. Dr. Cashin holds professional affiliations with the American Psychological Association (APA) and the National Association of Cognitive Behavioral Therapists.

Cynthia Cashin (Tiano) holds a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Miami, graduating with honors, and is a retired attorney and Florida Supreme Court Certified Family Mediator.
Cynthia’s passion for over two decades has been natural healing through lifestyle, including whole foods. For many years she has brought her personal practice of whole food preparation to her expertise as an instructor of Nutritional Workshops in an effort to educate others toward their own practice of healthier living.
